Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Purpose:

The purpose of this project is to reduce the impact of over-dimensioned and dangerous goods vehicles on both the infrastructure and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) outcomes by developing clearer and more consistent tunnel signage.

In addition to developing recommended signage, the project will develop a set of guidelines and strategies for the placement of signage along sections of roadway preceding tunnels and along the diversion route. The guidance to be included as an update to the Austroads Guide to Road Tunnels Part 2: Planning, Design and Commissioning.

Deliverables:

This project will produce the following deliverables:

• Technical Report

• Updated edition of Austroads Guide to Road Tunnels Part 2: Planning, Design and Commissioning (AGRT02)

Updates to the Guide to be provided as track changes or highlights in a word document, depending on the extent of the changes in consultation with the Austroads Project Manager.

• Webinar.

Also included as part of this tender are the following documents:

• Instructions for Authors of Austroads Publications which sets out the writing and formatting standards for research, technical and internal reports.

• Master Services Agreement outlining our Terms and Conditions. Please note that our Terms and Conditions are not negotiable.
