Tender Description
Flinders Shire Council is seeking expressions of interest for a Media and Communications Officer (contractor) to assist with a range of media and communications functions for the Council. Some of the key roles and responsibilities include:
• Prepare and disseminate media releases (following Council meetings and updates on key projects)
• Coordinate media enquiries
• Scheduling regular social media posts
• Review and update content on Council website
• Develop and design quarterly Community Newsletter
• Develop and/or proof-read Corporate documents (as required)
• Training and upskilling for identified Council staff in social media and media training (as required)
• Disaster management communications (as required)
