Consultancy for Pyramid Hill Streetscapes Revitalisation Landscape Architectural Design

⁠⁠⁠The Pyramid Hill Streetscapes Revitalisation Project is seeking landscape architectural and allied consultant’s services for landscape architectural design and documentation of the Pyramid Hill Streetscapes Revitalisation Project, for the extent of the design area on drawing ‘Concept Overlay’ Pyramid Hill Streetscape Masterplan, Outlines Landscape Architects. Key elements include:

1. Cohesiveness of township appearance and operation
2. Selected kerb and channel (intersections)
3. Footpaths
4. Township Planting Schedule including ongoing guidelines
5. Public and Park Furniture Style Guide
6. Town Entry unique signage guidelines
7. Safety Pedestrian and Cycling Links
8. Development of McKay Street
9. Improve aesthetics and safety of railway line through town
10. Signage Audit with recommendations for VicRoads, Council and VicTrack
11. Masterplan for Kelly Park

The project will provide the following outputs:

Communication plan

• Developed by the Community Engagement Liaison will be implemented to ensure that external stakeholders are consulted during the design and construction stages

Construction Plans and associated tender documents

• For construction plans to be presented to Council’s project manager. These plans and associated documentation will form the basis of the tender documentation for the construction stage of the project.
• Where feasible, these plans may group construction works into discrete smaller projects to provide flexibility in project delivery.

A number of township relevant style guidelines for the continuation of the private/public streetscape activation across the community specific to Pyramid Hill including:

• Township Planting Schedule and Guidelines
• Township Park Furniture Schedule and Guidelines
• Fencing guidelines

Ongoing support throughout the construction of the project

• The Community Liaison Contractor and Landscape architect support will be required to provide professional advice to the project manager and liaison with the community during the construction.
