Tender Description
The project objectives are to:
- Design and construct a changing places and toilet facility.
- Ensure all works comply with relevant Australian regulations and codes including the Victorian Government Changing Places design specifications (2020), pages 17 and 21
Specifications - Changing Places and Toilet Facility
The Changing Places and the Toilet Facilities must include the following key elements:
- Changing Places Unit- Design 2: with shower rectangular as per the Victorian Government,C to the full specification can be found in https://changingplaces.org.au/wpcontent/uploads/2020/03/Changing-Places-design-specifications-2020-1.pdf
- 1 x standard unisex accessible toilet.
- 1 x standard unisex ambulant toilet.
- 1 x standard unisex toilet with a standard 420mm high pan that is suitable for children.
- Cleaner’s store/ janitor (TBC by Council).
- Service area with hidden cisterns.
- Secure access for the Changing Place unit with MLAK key.
- All fit-out and building and facility’s signs to comply with the Changing Place standard, Australian standards and DDA requirements.
