SWSPHN is seeking to establish The Way Back Support Service (The Way Back) in South Western Sydney (SWS).
The Way Back is a service model developed by Beyond Blue. The Way back is a non-clinical support service focused on providing practical psychosocial support to people experiencing a suicidal crisis or who have attempted suicide.
The Service is delivered by trained Support Coordinators under the supervision of a mental health clinician for a period of up to three months. Through assertive outreach, Support Coordinators link clients to existing clinical and community-based services, to ensure they are safe and accessing the community-based support that is available
