Tender Description
Willoughby City Council ('Council') is seeking suitably qualified and experienced persons to be appointed as independent members of the Council's Audit, Risk and Improvement Committee ('ARIC').
The Committee is an advisory Committee to Council, providing independent assurance, and oversight to Council in the areas of:
- Internal audit
- External audit
- Financial reporting
- Risk management
- Governance and compliance frameworks
- Operational performance
- Business improvement
The Committee has five members (three independent members, including the Chair, and two Councillors).
