Parramatta Road Urban Amenity Improvement Program PRUAIP

⁠⁠⁠The Parramatta Road Urban Amenity Improvement Program (PRUAIP) is the NSW State Government’s commitment to stimulate urban renewal along the Parramatta Road corridor.

The vision for the Parramatta Road corridor is for high quality, multi-use spaces with improved transport options better amenity and balanced growth of housing and jobs. The PRUAIP identifies a suite of early local improvement works along the corridor to help realise the vision. This program is to deliver improved urban amenity aligned to the vision for cyclists and pedestrians and to encourage residents and commuters to utilise the improved facilities provided under this program.

Council (the Principal), is seeking submissions from appropriately qualified and experienced contractors to provide services for completion of works in 18 months, with the option to renew the agreement for a further period at the sole option of the Council in accordance with the terms and conditions of this RFx.

The work is awarded for the contract work on a lump sum fixed price basis in accordance with the fixed lump sum provisions in the tender pricing schedules herein. The applicable terms and conditions of engagement are detailed in Cumberland City Council Purchase Order Standard Terms and Conditions.

All respondents are required to attend the mandatory pre-tender briefing / inspection.

Meeting on 18 August 2020, Gathering at M4 Pedestrian Bridge ramp at Corner Melton Street South and Adderley Street.

All respondents must register for pre-tender briefing, on or before 2pm on 17 August 2020, including name of company, name of attendance (limit 1 per organisation), email address. Please register by email to tendering@cumberland.nsw.gov.au

The timeslot for the pretender site briefing / inspection will be notified by email to each organisation registered to Council.

Should the respondent fail to attend, its tender will not be considered.
