Tender Description
Knox City Council is seeking suitably a qualified contractor to undertake turf replacement as per the following:
Knox Park – Knoxfield
• Spray out existing surface; (consult with Knox Council)
• Install temporary fence;
• Topmake (remove) vegetative material;
• Dispose of debris;
• Restore field levels;
• Repair any damaged sprinkler heads;
• Solid turf field with Santa ana (16,500m2 grown on sand profile) with no joining gaps;
• Topdress field;
• Apply fertilizer for 6 weeks; and
• Mow for first 6 weeks.
Knox Park Junior Pitch
• Spray out existing surface; (consult with Knox Council)
• Install temporary fence;
• Topmake (remove) vegetative material;
• Dispose of debris;
• Restore field levels;
• Solid turf field with Santa ana (1600m2 grown on sand profile) with no joining gaps;
Batterham Reserve – The Basin
• Spray out existing surface; (consult with Knox Council)
• Topmake (remove) vegetative material;
• Dispose of debris;
• Restore field levels;
• Repair any damaged sprinkler heads;
• Solid turf field with Santa ana (2000m2 grown on sand profile) with no joining gaps;

Batterham Reserve - 10 Miller Road The Basin and
Knox Park – Ferntree Gully Road Knoxfield
