Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Following the devastating bushfires, drought, floods and COVID-19, Council is focussing on encouraging and supporting the community through the recovery period to build resilience, maintain connections and strengthen community wellbeing.

This Expression of Interest (EOI) process provides an opportunity for individuals, local businesses, artisans, teachers, community organisations, and cultural groups to assist our community to get back on its feet.

Partner with us
Council is interested in partnering with providers based in the Scenic Rim or who can provide services to the Scenic Rim, includes, but not limited to: Community organisations, speakers, teachers, fitness providers, catering companies, artists, arts workers, arts groups, community organisations, business operators, and professionals.

EOIs should demonstrate how the activity:

  • aids in recovery and preparedness
  • builds kind, compassionate and connected communities
  • fosters positive mindsets
  • promotes resourceful and resilient communities
  • explores the connections between arts, wellbeing and our health and happiness, and,
  • assists in sharing stories and building connections to our shared heritage and experiences.

Timeline
Cultural Services programs are presented through a calendar year – January to December - with some specific programs timed with school terms and holidays.

Expressions of interest will be accepted from Monday 13 July 2020 until close of business Wednesday 30 August 2020.

Eligibility
Scenic Rim Regional Council’s Community and Culture team provides programs across the Scenic Rim at a range of venues to suit a wide audience. Locations include:

  • Cultural Centres
  • Libraries
  • Community halls
  • Parks, and
  • Public and civic spaces.

How to apply

Complete the online EOI form along with any relevent supporting documentation by COB 30 August 2020. Detailed information about applying for the Cultural Services Programming Wellbeing for 2021 can be found .

 

Submissions will be reviewed against a selection criteria by a Community Wellbeing panel and endorsed by Scenic Rim Regional Council. You will be advised of the outcome of your application six weeks after the closing date of EOIs.
