Tender Description
Hume City Council invites tenders for the Provision for the Construction of Concrete Indented Parking Bays and Kerb and Channel Rehabilitation for Hume City Council.
Council is seeking the services of suitably qualified and experienced contractor/s to undertake the construction of:
Indented Parking Bays along a length of a road at various locations within the municipality,
- A Single Indented Parking Bay at various locations within the municipality, and
- Kerb and channel rehabilitation at various locations within the municipality as determined by Council’s Contract Engineers to support the asphalt resurfacing program.
This contract will be awarded to a panel of successful contractors that score highest against the selection criteria. The number of contractors forming the panel will be at the discretion of Council and will be made during the evaluation of all received tender submissions.
This tender is not intended to replace Contract No. 30 20 3086 – Provision of Concrete Services for Hume City Council or Contract No. 30 16 2626 - Provision of Minor Road Works for Hume City Council. Contractors will continue to undertake works under each contract.
This tender is to complement current Council contracts in place and increase Council’s capacity to undertake additional concrete works, specifically the construction of Indented Parking bays and Kerb and Channel rehabilitation.
The agreement will be for a period of three years with two (2) by one (1) year options.
Tenderers must submit tenders in the manner required by this Request for Tenders ensuring evidence is provided in response to the evaluation criteria.
