Tender Description
A 2m high raise of the existing inactive north cell of Tailings Storage Facility 1 (TSF1). The works primarily involve bulk earthworks and the relocation/installation of pipework with upgrades as necessary. This includes but is not limited to:
a) raising of the confining embankments and decant causeway
b) construction and/or relocation of access roads to suit
c) construction of an engineered discharge spillway
d) construction of peripheral drainage structures including road crossings
e) installation of instrumentation including piezometers and survey pillars
f) relocation of existing pipework onto the raised embankments
g) upgrading of pumps and pipework where necessary including associated fittings
h) installation of tailings discharge spigots
Works will interface with the operational requirements of the active and adjacent south cell.
