North East Link Project (NELP), on behalf of the Victorian Government, is inviting suitably qualified respondents to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to deliver Independent Reviewer and Environmental Auditor (IREA) services for North East Link (NEL).

NEL is the largest investment in a road project in Victoria’s history. It will complete the missing link in Melbourne’s orbital freeway between an upgraded Eastern Freeway and the M80 Ring Road. NEL will also deliver the Doncaster Busway, Melbourne's first dedicated high-speed busway, between the Doncaster 'park and ride' to Hoddle Street.

The IREA role presents a significant opportunity to partner with the State and Project Co and play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of the project.

The purpose of the IREA role is to:

independently assess that project development, delivery and completion is in accordance with relevant project documents; and
provide independent environmental auditor services required to meet project approval conditions.
