Grit and Resilience Program

⁠⁠⁠The Grit and Resilience Program is seeking support from a qualified evaluator in evaluating and monitoring the Grit and Resilience Program throughout its development and implementation period.

The aim is for this evaluation to support innovation development and assist in guiding adaptation to emergent and dynamic realities in the complex environment of Wangaratta.

Therefore, the proposed evaluators will seek to explore:

• How well the Grit and Resilience Program engages the Wangaratta community in a Collective Impact approach.
• What is emerging as the Grit and Resilience program takes shape?
• What do initial results reveal about expected progress?
• What variations in effects are we seeing including what works and what does not?
• How have different values, perspectives, and relationships influenced the innovation and its outcomes?
• How is the larger system or environment responding to the innovation?

It is expected that the final product that the Grit and Resilience Program will receive at completion of contract is:

• Documents that comprehensively describes and discusses using data collected over the project term, what difference the Grit and Resilience Program has made across the Rural City of Wangaratta community.*
• Documentation of how the Consortium and the Community achieved these differences. It is envisioned that this documentation could be shaped as a “how to guide for other communities.*

*The consortium would expect that these documents would value add to the expanding evidence currently being collected and collated around Place Based Suicide prevention activities across the state.

It is expected that the evaluators will be maintained for the entirety of the funded program.

Contract term

The contract will be a fixed price contract for a three year period, with scheduled review points and payments throughout the contract.
