We are seeking multiple experienced content writers who are skilled at translating complex information and transforming it into plain English.
Who will the specialist work with?
You will be working within a multi-disciplinary agile team with other content writers, a business analyst, delivery manager and user experience (UX) involvement. The successful candidate will work embedded within the team to deliver content outcomes prioritised by a product owner. At times, you may be asked to work with stakeholders or subject matter experts to co-write content.

The team behind the business.gov.au website are embarking on several projects that will improve web content to focus on users completing key jobs. A thorough and user-centred content strategy has been developed to ensure consistency of content creation during these projects. We are seeking multiple experienced copywriters who are skilled at translating complex information and transforming it into plain English—including removal of unnecessary jargon and content—to enhance the user experience.
The business.gov.au website is a single digital entry point connecting Australian business owners to information, grants, registrations and support from government.
