Tender Description
The Department of Education, Skills and Employment (DESE) is seeking a consultancy service to provide a report on options for a new Schools Funding Entitlement Calculator (Calculator), which will be used to ensure schools (both government and non-government) continue to receive their consistent share of Commonwealth funding. The scope of the consultancy is to explore future options to replace the existing Calculator (known as the Production Ready Spreadsheet or PRS), which uses Excel Services, particularly considering the interface with the department’s Schools funding payment system, Schools Education Management Information System (SEMIS). The options should take into consideration the longer-term future of Calculator and SEMIS, and potential system changes, upgrades or replacements.
