Position open for an AFOEM Fellow to join the Fellowship Committee and contribute to Member engagement.
The Fellowship Committee is a peak RACP Board Committee that works closely with all College bodies to support the enhancement of services to Members and identify ways to increase the engagement of Members across the College.
Committee Members are responsible for submitting recommendations to the Board on important issues that will impact all Members of the College.
The Committee is responsible for:
- overseeing of the continued development of member services
- developing processes to support the pastoral care needs of Fellows
- collecting surveys to assess the engagement of members and their satisfaction with College services
- maintaining the College’s cultural assets, including the History of Medicine Library
- overseeing College wide celebrations and events including Congress and Ceremony
- awarding Honorary Fellowships, College awards and Medals
- management of College elections and generic rules and guidelines as appropriate
The Committee holds 2 face-to-face meetings and 2 teleconferences per year.
