Tender Description

At the time of publishing this invitation to register an interest, the Works for this
package include:

• provision of all resources, supervision, labour, transportation, materials, construction plant and equipment, communications and other items necessary for the logistics, detailed earthworks and concrete, civil works, mechanical works, electrical & instrumentation, pipeline installation and commissioning, including:
• ROW and trenching of approx. twin buried, API 5L carbon steel pipelines of approx. DN600 and DN700 to ASME B31.4 Chapter XI and API 1104 Annex
A;
• 135+ km each pipeline (270+ km in total) from North Star mine to Port Hedland Anderson Point stockyard;
• Internal HDPE lining of one DN700 mineral slurry Concentrate pipeline;
• Internal epoxy or polyurethane lining of DN600 filtrate Return Water pipeline;
• automatic or mechanised welding;
• automated coating/lining;
• FJC compatible with 3LPE Linepipe coating;
• rock trenching activities;
• river crossings and other types of crossings;
• trenchless crossings: micro-tunnelling rail crossing and road crossing by other approved methods e.g. HDD, Auger Boring and Thrust Boring;
• instrumentation and telemetry services, fibre optic cable installation in trench approximately 40km;
• valve stations, PIG L/R stations and Cathodic Protection stations;
• hydrostatic and other pre-commissioning tests, Cathodic Protection EPR and LFI mitigation;
• supply of accommodation for personnel and Principal offices.

Relevant standards, codes and guides including Australian standards and equivalent ISO apply to this package 662NSC3003 Concentrate and Return Water Pipelines.
