Tender Description

Sembcorp Marine is seeking expressions of interest from service providers able to provide HVAC Fans in support of the Jansz-Io Compression Project.
Contractor shall be responsible for the design, engineering, manufacture, assembly, inspection, testing and preparation for transport of HVAC Fans for installation on Field Control Station to provide mech. ventilation on-board.

The scope of supply shall include:
• Provide a high level of reliability for continuous operation in a salt laden offshore tropical environment
• Centrifugal, tube-axial, vane-axial fans, complete with motor, vibration mountings, flexible connection and adjustable speed drives (ASD)
• Satisfy compliance requirements of IECex for continuous equipment operation within a minimum of a Class 1, Zone 2, Gas Group IIB, Temp Class T3. Except for Battery Rooms, fan shall be suitable for a Zone 1.

Key design criteria for the HVAC Fans:
• Design life: 30 years
• Anti-sparking construction in accordance with AMCA 99-0401 Type C.
• Centrifugal fan: either SISW or DIDW configuration constructed to Class III requirements as defined in AMCA 99-2408. Fan impellers: backward curved aerofoil section having non overloading power characteristics. Fan casings: UNS S31603 series SS plate. Fan impellers: UNS S31603 series SS plate as a single all welded assembly.
• Axial fan: In-line fan casings: UNS S31603 series SS plate
• Tube-axial fans: ≤450mm diameter shall use adjustable pitch aero foil section, low noise, GRP, non-sparking type blades, with the blade hub assemblies and fasteners from UNS S31603 SS materials. ≥450mm diameter fan shall use low noise adjustable pitch aero foil section cast blades with hub assemblies and fasteners made from UNS S31603 SS.
• Vane-axial fans: Truemixed flow type having non-stalling and nonoverloading power characteristics. The impeller blade shall cause the air to enter axially and turn outward through an angle between 30-75° to the impeller axis. Adjustable pitch fan impeller blades with aerodynamic shaped hub shall all be cast from UNS S31603 SS
• Fan motors shall be TEFC 3 phase induction motors
