Tender Description
Cumberland Council (Council) proposes to reconstruct the rugby playing field of Granville Park in conjunction with the redevelopment of the adjoining pavilion and parking facilities including:
Reconstructing the playing surface, increasing the field dimensions, installation of drainage and irrigation, and the installation of new floodlighting;
The project will be managed by Council’s Mr Maheir EL Mohamad;
Key stakeholders of the project are the Parramatta Rugby Club, Council and the general community;
Granville Park is situated on the western side of Woodville Rd in Merrylands, just south of Merrylands Rd;
Tenderers should be aware that a separate tender is being let for the construction of a new pavilion on the western side of the playing field, with construction of the pavilion anticipated to be concurrent with the work in this tender. It is expected that the successful tenderer will work cooperatively with the successful tenderer for the pavilion construction. The program/methodology required in this RFT should make allowance for this and include protocols and methods for making a successful working environment.
Date for Parctical Completion is 16 October 2020.
The work is awarded for the contract work on a lump sum fixed price basis in accordance with the fixed lump sum provisions in the tender pricing schedules herein. The applicable terms and conditions of engagement are detailed in Conditions of Contract
All tenders are required to attend a mandatory tender briefing / inspection.
