Tender Description
Scope of Works
Replacement of existing crystalliser platforms within the Port Hedland DSL Crystalliser Field. Including but not limited to the following:
- Build and establish coffer dams using suitable materials from nearby borrow pits to create a dry working area within the brine supply channels or crystalliser ponds;
- Install diesel pumps to control water ingress into the working area;
- Demolish existing wooden platforms, Fibre Reinforced Composite (FRP) and concrete aprons;
- Transport and dispose of removed structures;
- Construct and install new wooden platforms complete with new FRP walkways , stairs, handrails, concrete apron, wooden gate uprights;
- Install new poly pipe backing plates, guide runners and poly penstock gates;
- Commissioning, punch listing and quality checking as final bolt tensions, wood oiling, testing of penstock gates; and
- Complete project as-built documentation (drawings) and quality documents.
All Works, materials supplied, fabrication, surface treatment, structural/concrete works to be in accordance with RTIO/DSL Standards.
Please note:
- the Contractor may be required to source materials and equipment such as wood, fixings, splice plates, FRP etc;
- the Contractor must be flexible to work in and around the DSL production teams;
- includes the supply of plant such as excavators, trucks, LVs, generators and telehandlers; and
- the Contractor must maintain daily timesheets for approval by the Company.
