Expression of Interest - Audit Committee - Independent Member

⁠⁠⁠Council invites Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified individuals with appropriate experience to fill an independent member vacancy on its Audit Committee.

The Committee operates under a Charter and is an Advisory Committee to Council. Its primary objective is to assist Council in the effective conduct of its responsibilities in financial reporting, internal control, risk management, business continuity, internal and external audit, organisation compliance and fraud.

Membership of the Committee consists of two Councillors and three independent members. The term for independent members is three years and an orderly rotation of membership is in place. The retiring member is not seeking reappointment.
