Tender Description
Rio Tinto requires suppliers who can provide condition monitoring and/or non-destructive testing services for all its Iron Ore sites including all Pilbara mines, ports, salt operations, rail and utilities assets.
Scope of work
The scope includes the following items:
Condition Monitoring (CM)
- vibration analysis;
- lubricant analysis (grease and oil);
- wear particle analysis (morphology);
- infrared thermography;
- motor current and magnetic flux analysis;
- in-situ dynamic balancing;
- machinery drive-train alignments;
- equipment rebuild acceptance testing (vibration testing); and
- record data systems management
- mobilisation of labour and transport of all materials and plant equipment necessary
Non-destructive testing (NDT) Services:
- radiography;
- ultrasonics;
- magnetic particle;
- liquid penetrant;
- eddy current detection;
- tube inspection;
- storage tank testing;
- video inspection; and
- weld inspections;
