The Cloncurry township has developed over 150 years, with water services being installed as required. As such, Council's records of the water supply network are anecdotal.

This tender is for a scope of works that will identify and digitise the assets in the water network and develop a model to understand and manage pressures and flows throughout the network.

The development of a water network model will provide the foundation for the planning for new water infrastructure enabling structured growth for the town and therefore the economy of the town. The model will also enable optimisation of the current network minimising operational costs of the supply of water to the town.

The scope of these works will include the following:

• Check of the current GIS information including site investigation
• Building of water network model
• Verification and validation of the model
• Supply of the model and software to run model.
