This Tender is invited by the Issuer.

⁠⁠⁠The Governance & Engagement team works closely with the wider Service Delivery Office and SDO Executives to assist with the management of key stakeholder relationships and with SDO clients to ensure the smooth and effective delivery of services to clients. The Team also manages the governance framework and structure for the SDO working with the Executives to ensure that it is effectively managed and reflects the formal governance committees to support the SDO operating model.

The Governance, Engagement and Communications role within the SDO Engagement team will be to provide assistance with secretariat duties for the governance committees of the SDO ensuring meetings are properly coordinated and agendas, papers and minutes delivered to a high standard and in a timely manner. The role will also require good communication skills to assist with communications to internal and external clients.

  •  Good written and communication skills to support the provision of secretariat duties for the governance functions within the SDO
  •  Communicate in a professional, effective manner across various levels, Departments and external clients
  •  Respond to requests within a busy environment in an effective and timely manner
  •  Assist with the development and implementation of communications, stakeholder management and marketing materials
  •  Communicates clearly, confidently and with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  •  Work cooperatively with others to meet scheduled timelines
  •  Good organisational skills and eye for detail
  •  Flexibility to work across the team and assist with the work and activities of others
  •  Shows initiative and anticipates and responds quickly when situations change

Professional

  •  Postgraduate qualifications in business administration, communications or a related field.
  •  Previous experience within an Australian Public Service (APS) communications, governance or secretariat environment.
  •  Good Microsoft Office suite skills and experience with SharePoint.
