Service Agreement Metering Services

⁠⁠⁠Coliban Water invites tender submissions for provision of services including the following key services relating to customer metering:

• New customer connections and metering assemble for potable, non-potable and recycled water including tapping band, ferrule, service pipe data loggers and meter covers. Size may vary from 20mm to 600mm,
• Replacement of existing meters for potable, non-potable and recycled water supplies including tapping band, ferrule, service pipe data loggers and meter covers,
• Customer mechanical meter testing,
• System meter validation, verification and replacement,
• Backflow prevention device, inspection and verification,
• New or replacement of under road service connections,
• Fire services installation and inspections,
• Attachment of data loggers to existing meters,
• Pressure and Flow testing and measurement,

Class A recycled water connections inspections:

• R1: From meter to dwelling. This inspection takes place when the recycled water and drinking water meter assemblies and the pipes to the house have been installed.
• R2: Rough in. This inspection takes place during construction, before the plasterboard goes on. This is to check that the recycled water pipes are only connected to the approved points.
• R3: Commissioning and fit off. The plumber must be on site for this inspection only. This inspection ensures that the drinking water and recycled water services have been correctly installed and there are no cross connections.
