⁠⁠⁠Hume City Council invites tenders for the Supply and Installation of Solar PV (600kW) at four locations.

Please note details of compulsory site visit for Tenderers:

Finish Time: 12:00 midday (approximately)
Date: Monday, 11th November 2019

Location
Commencing at Broadmeadows Aquatic and Leisure Centre (BALC) 41-85 Tanderrum Way Broadmeadows

Each site will be visited with an expected completion time of 12:00 midday.

Attendance of the site visit is Mandatory
Please note that tenderers must attend the relevant site visit for their submissions for that site to be compliant. Alternative site visit times will not be arranged.

A site visit will provide an opportunity to inspect:

• The structure, available space on the roof and roof access.
• Please note: due to aviation restrictions at this site you will not be allowed to crane lift anything above 30m from the ground level. You will need to identify your proposed lifting solution and where this would be located at this site visit OR for use of equipment above 30m seek and obtain approval from Essendon airport (with costs included in quote).
• The current electrical switchboard and meter and any requirements for upgrades
• Suitable location for the inverter/s and caging requirement.
• The surrounds of the building (trees, existing roof plant, other obstructions, any wind uplift issues) and the potential impact on the performance of solar panels
• Any other requirements of the site to effectively implement a large solar PV system.

Tenderers must submit tenders in the manner required by this Request for Tenders.
