Tender Description
The existing 4M is nearing the end of it's useful life and has been earmarked for replacement.
RTIO have commissioned the construction of a replacement tripper. Shutdown planning has identified a period in June 2020 to remove the existing Tripper, replace the existing travel rails and Install the New Tripper.
Expression of Interest are being sought from suitably qualified contractors on the supply of Supervision, Equipment and Personnel to undertake:
- the removal of the existing tripper
- removal of existing Tripper running rails
- installation of new tripper rails and aligned to existing conveyor pulleys
- installation of New Tripper
- demolition of old tripper and removal from site.
RTIO will supply IFC engineering drawings for key components but the Contractor will need to provide workshop detail drawings as required and structural engineering support during the works (e.g. verify temp supports/braces in methodologies)
Due to the complexity of this scope, it is expected that dedicated planning/schedule resource(s) will be required.
