Tender Description
The St. Joseph’s Primary School footbridge provides a safe crossing point of Russell Creek for pedestrians and cyclists. The bridge provides linkages to the school grounds and tennis courts south of Russell Creek from the shared path on the north side of the creek.
The existing timber footbridge has been closed for some time because of its poor condition.
Council, in conjunction with St Joseph’s Primary School, wish to replace the bridge and extend the share path on the south side of the bridge to provide better connectivity for pedestrians and cyclists.
Warrnambool City Council is seeking lump sum quotations for the following Services:
- Supply and install new 2.50m and 1.50m wide reinforced concrete footpath and pram crossings with tactile warnings
- Excavate and dispose of existing grass and concrete material for new concrete path and pram crossing
- Design and supply traffic management for associated works
- Remove and reinstate existing fence for new concrete path
- Reinstate existing grass areas that were disturbed during construction and install collapsible bollards
