Tender Description
At the time of publishing this invitation to register an interest, the works include:
- the installation of the items supplied by the Principal including:
- estimated nine transportable 33kV switch rooms inclusive of support columns;
- transformers associated with the LV and MV switchrooms (The LV and MV switchrooms will be installed by others);
- the main 33kV cables from the intake substation to and/or between each of the site wide plant area 33 kV switch rooms;
- the main 33 kV cabling from the plant area 33 kV switch rooms to the corresponding transformers;
- the main 33 kV cabling from the outdoor ring-main-units or the indoor switchboards to the corresponding transformers associated with the crushing stacking and stockpile reclaim plant areas; fibre-optic cables.
- on-site receipt and storage of the items supplied by the Principal including the items listed above;
- termination of 33kV cables to overhead powerlines (overhead powerlines will be installed by others);
- supply and installation of control, protection and communication cabling between the 33 kV switch rooms;
- supply and installation of control and protection cabling between the switchrooms or ring-main-units and the corresponding transformers;
- supply and installation of conduits for electrical and communications cables at crossing sites including trenching and backfilling and route marking;
- supply and installation of materials and work including: cable ladder/racking, trenching, 33kV substation earthing, cable terminals and sundry steel; and
- installation of switchroom lightning protection.
