Tender Description
We invite applications from organisations that would like to operate a business innovation space for the tech startup sector at 180 George Street, Circular Quay.
You will also act as head tenant for approximately 3,800 sqm over 3 floors of affordable coworking and office space.
The lease will be for 5 years, with the possibility to extend for another 5 years.
The building is currently under construction with an estimated completion date of early 2022.
Applications will need to include:
- operating model, programming and outcomes in line with Sydney 2030, our tech startups action plan and the City’s overall economic and social strategies
- measurable community benefits commensurate with the rental subsidy requested
- detail of proposed programming and activities that build global connections, community, partnerships, skills, knowledge and capability within the tech startup sector
- activation of the event space and engagement and contribution to the local startup community through the use of the building.
Open house
There will be no open house as the building is currently under construction.
A public briefing will be held instead on Thursday 24 October 2019, 3pm to 4pm in the Connected meeting room, level 2, Town Hall House, 456 Kent Street, Sydney (enter via Kent Street and register at Concierge).
