Ceiling modifications to Parker Point substation room

⁠⁠⁠Scope of Work
The supplier is required to raise the suspended ceiling of the Parker Point substation room.

The purpose of this modification is to allow greater height in the room to accommodate a fire suppression system in accordance with Australian Standards, which will be installed post these works.

The works will involve ensuring that the roof is isolated and all services in the roof are managed and tidy including the installation of cable tray to support wiring and supports for the air conditioning duct. At the completion of the works the ceiling and walls must be airtight.

Rio Tinto will provide the 'as built' drawings. This work must be carried out in accordance with RTIO safety standards.

All works must be performed by a Licenced Builder and qualified personnel with all required qualifications including electrical licences. RTIO competencies like working at heights as well as all other trades required to complete the works including reporting, supervision and project management.

As part of the tender process a compulsory site visit must be attended to fully understand the SoW requirements.
