Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠The scope of works is summarised in the following points but not limited to:

  • Design and construction for four (4) full concrete pavement tennis courts to be surfaced with sand filled artificial grass including line marking on courts.
  • Demolition of four (4) existing tennis courts (courts 3, 4, 5 and 6) and surfaced with sand filled artificial grass – existing infrastructure to be demolished. Courts 4, 5 and 6 have an asphalt base. Court 3 has concrete base.
  • Court 3, 4, 5 and 6 to be surfaced with sand filled artificial grass
  • Courts must have an appropriately designed sub base for highly reactive soil conditions.
  • The design for the courts must be compliant with Tennis Australia guidelines.
  • Stormwater drainage.
  • Footpaths to comply with Melton City Council Standard Drawings.
  • Installation of six (6) no. 15 m tall light poles with metal halide lamps around the perimeter of courts 3, 4, 5 and 6.
  • Remedial surfacing works to two (2) existing asphalt courts – courts 1 and 2 in image below.
  • Removal of existing boundary court fence and installation of 3.6m tennis court boundary fencing.
  • Removal of nominated trees.
  • Make good to landscaping.
