The Kaka Wangity Wangin–Mirrie Cultural Program Grants Scheme was established in 2016. A competitive grants process was undertaken at the time and successful service providers were funded for three years to deliver programs in key areas such as cultural strengthening, family violence, healing, parenting and women’s healing. The 2016 grants program ends on 31 December 2019. A new round of grants has been approved and will commence in January 2020.
This Request for Application for the 2020 Kaka Wangity Wangin–Mirrie Cultural Program Grants seeks applications for funding for programs and services that have a focus on cultural strength. Grant services are intended to be delivered over the next three years (1 January 2020 – 31 December 2022). The total grant value is up to $2.10 million (excluding GST) and CV anticipates that several organisations will be funded through the program.
