Tender Description
Monash University is seeking proposals to extend its cloud infrastructure into its data centres with an additional zone dedicated to store and process secure and sensitive workloads.
- The offered solution should enable Monash university to have a software defined private cloud platform.
- The proposed solution(s) should enable Monash to implement a Zero Trust Network virtualization layer with the ability to centrally apply agent less micro segmentation on the VM level.
- The proposed solution(s) should be able to support VM level Encryption, Virtualization based Security, and secure boot for the virtualization hosts.
- The proposed solution should be able to provide Virtual Desktop Services as one of the platform offerings. The solution should support the following features:
- The ability to virtualize NVIDIA T4 or P4 GPUs
- The ability to integrate with the Monash Active Directory
- The ability to offer HTML5 client in addition to other native clients
- The solution(s) should support host connection up to 25 Gigabit Ethernet.
- The proposed solution(s) for the data storage layer must support the following protocols: SMB, NFS 3, NFS 4, and NDMP.
- HW delivery would be require by a maximum of 6 weeks from PO
- Each solution should explicitly state the raw and usable capacity of the storage layers.
- Vendors should provide at least two reference sites for each proposed solution. Previous strong delivery experience in this field with large scale enterprise would be desired.
