CON19039:
This contract is for the design and construction of four new lighting towers and LED floodlights that are to provide lighting suitable for high definition television broadcasting at the Northland Events Centre (NEC) on Okara Drive, Whangarei.
The existing five lighting towers are to be removed and disposed of. The two towers adjacent to the grandstand are to be replaced with new towers in similar positions.
The two towers on the opposite side to the grandstand are to be replaced with two new towers further up the embankment (to improve embankment spectator views). The fifth tower behind the Media Building is to be removed.
The tenderer shall submit a full turnkey solution that is compliant with NEC requirements and compliant with all RC and BC conditions.
The contractor will be responsible for the design, supply, install and commissioning of the complete floodlighting installation inclusive of any required infrastructure and infrastructure upgrades.
