Tender Description
The Waitaki District Council wish to construct a pumping station and dispersal system for discharging the current and future flows of the Omarama Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) to land via sub-surface infiltration trenches located at the nearby Omarama Airfield.
The work is separated into two stages with the first stage being the construction of the land dispersal field and actuated valve chambers. This is being completed under a separate contract to meet strict deadlines.
This Contract is for the second stage of the works which includes the supply, install and commissioning of:
- inlet sump
- pump chamber (wet well) and pumps
- valve chamber
- Arkal filtration system with clean water backwashing system
- water storage tank
- pumping shed housing filter and control cabinet
- PE rising main (PE pipeline supplied free issue)
- electrical works
