Tender Description
The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is intending to conduct a Request for Information (RFI) process to support its investigation into Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) Enabling Technologies. Enabling Technologies are those that support TMR’s existing DRT services and any new services in the future. This RFI does not include the operation of services.
TMR is seeking information about proven solutions and experienced service providers to gather market intelligence to inform the procurement approach that TMR may take to procuring technology solutions that meet TMR’s requirements and enables a sustainable transport system, accessible to all.
The information gathered through this RFI will be used to inform TMR’s understanding of the DRT enabling technology solutions market to meet the business requirements including:
* the range and availability of DRT technology solutions;
* the delivery process;
* the size and nature of the market;
* options for procuring a potential solution; and
