Architecture Services and Design

⁠⁠⁠CCTV&EC currently have a requirement to develop a number of architecture documents and a Windows 10 base image for desktop PC’s. This requirement is in support of recommendations the Department has received to implement ASD mandatory initiatives within the Home Affairs CCTV environment.

The required services include, but are not limited to:

• Building a Windows 10 Enterprise base imagine and make available within the current CCTV domain SCCM for deployment
• Advise options on Application whitelisting, Antivirus software, and Control removable storage media and once approved, provide an implementation plan, undertake management configuration on the approved applications and undertake a rollout on a test set of end points.
• Developing “future state” High Level Solution Design and Security Solution Architecture for the Home Affairs CCTV environment
• Working within a delivery team to design and produce architecture related artefacts
• Providing technical knowledge and leadership to the delivery area
• Building and maintaining effective working relationships with Domain specific business owners, delivery teams and technical specialists
• Communicating effectively with the Department’s decision makers and delivery teams to influence thinking and design
• Liaising with project managers, developers, vendors, senior managers and clients to ensure solution designs meet user needs and deliver expected business outcomes
• Providing status reports of agreed scoped work items and developing and maintaining a project schedule
• Creating complete and accurate records in accordance with the Department’s record keeping policy instructions and guidelines

Specified personnel will be expected to transfer skills and knowledge to Departmental staff and ensure appropriate documentation is stored in accordance with Departmental policies.

The service provider will be responsible for the delivery of the following documentation:

• Future state High Level Solution Design detailing an environment that is agreed by the Department
• Future state Security Solution Architecture detailing an environment that is agreed by the Department
• An Enterprise Level Technical Road Map detailing a path to achieve the “future state”
• Application modelling, including logical and physical
• High Level System Designs and Detailed Designs for new systems being introduced
• Other architectural or design related documentation as required

Note: Documentation must be developed using departmental modelling tools and available templates. Any deviation to this must be agreed prior to development of any documentation.

The Department will discuss and approve the proposed acceptance criteria and delivery methodology upon commencement of the deliverables.

Specified Personnel performance will be monitored during the contract term and assessed against the requested deliverables and input into performance meetings and reports.

Milestones will need to be achieved, i.e. producing relevant documentation and business outcomes against an agreed timeline.

The Service Provider will agree to meet regularly with the Department in regards to project delivery schedule. The frequency of these meetings will be determined by the Department.
