Asset and Facilities Maintenance Management Services

The Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS) has a statutory obligation to comply with Building Regulations 2018 to achieve the Annual Essential Safety Measures Report (AESMR).

DJCS is also required to manage, administer and carry out asset maintenance in accordance with the Asset Management Accountability Framework (AMAF) established by the Department of Treasury and Finance in 2016.

DJCS intends to approach the market to engage a supplier(s) to provide asset and facilities maintenance management services under a reformed contract.

DJCS will conduct a two-phase tender process:
1. Open market assessment through an expression of interest (EOI).
2. Bids from shortlisted offerers through a select request for tender (RFT).

Asset and facilities maintenance management services will include (but not limited to):
* adherence to regulatory code obligations, such as Building Regulations 2018 and Essential Safety Measures
* compliance with statutory requirements, such as ministerial directions and the AMAF
* programmed, remedial and reactive maintenance
* soft services
* technical advisory services
* project services.
