The extent of the works shall include, but not be limited to, all of the following, all in accordance with the Specification and Drawings:
1) The Subcontractor has allowed all tasks associated with the design, shop drawing, fabrication, delivery and installation of external
aluminium louvres which are not contained within façade curtain wall or façade glazing systems. This is to include, but is not limited to
the following
a) Louvres to plantroom on Roof Level,
b) Louvre screen with louvre access door on Roof Level,
c) Louvre screen to driveway on Dock level,
d) Substation louvre doors,
e) Louvre gates,
2) The Louvre panels are to include for the following;
a) Extruded aluminium louvres
b) Aluminium frame,
c) Sill flashing and seals,
d) Bracketry to connect to structural steel supports (structural steel by others),
e) Stainless steel vermin mesh to back of louvre panel,
f) Powdercoat finish – colour TBC,
g) All louvres to be blanked,
3) The Subcontractor will allow to produce shop drawings for review with updates to be incorporated in the design and as built drawings.
4) The preparation of fully detailed coordinated shop drawings for Louvres. Shop drawings will commence to be produced within 20
days of the date of award of the project to the Subcontractor for review by the Contractor and other trades for coordination. The
Subcontractor will then incorporate comments in order to produce ‘For Construction’ drawings. In summary, the Subcontractor will be
required to produce the following:
* Drawings for coordination will be provided on an ongoing basis and as required to ensure that a coordinated system is
designed and documented
* Drawings ‘For Review’ to be uploaded in Aconex electronically as well as 2 (No.) hard copies
* Drawings ‘For Construction’ to be uploaded on Aconex electronically as well as 2 (No.) hard copies
* Provision for ‘As-Built’ drawings to be uploaded on Aconex electronically as well as 4 (No.) hard copies.
5) The Subcontractor will allow for all horizontal cranage and movement for installation and provide all necessary access equipment
required to complete the works including boom lifts, scissor lifts and swing stages over and above the access scaffolding provided by
RP.
6) The Subcontractor is to note that a web-based document control system is in place for the project called Aconex. This will be where
electronic documents will be issued and accessed including drawings, instructions, contract notices, NCR’s, samples, etc.
