Tender Description
Horsham Rural City Council invites appropriately skilled and qualified commercial builders (unlimited) to undertake infrastructure upgrade works at the Horsham Regional Livestock Exchange (HRLE).
This project will revitalise the HRLE through the provision of a fixed roof to the 23,400m2 stock yards. The roofing upgrade project will include:
Sawtooth modular saleyard designed roofing (or tenderer’s alternative design) covering the entire sale yard area of 23,400 m2
LED lighting throughout
Solar Panels – 100 kW photovoltaic cells (the maximum allowable within the limits of the small-scale renewable energy market provisions)
Water storage – 500 kL, complying with fire service requirements
This installation will occur on the existing footprint of the HRLE and is required to remain operational during construction works.
It is anticipated works will be complete no later than 31 October 2020
