Castlemaine Town Hall Thermal Comfort Project

⁠⁠⁠Castlemaine Town Hall is located at 25 Lyttleton Street, Castlemaine Victoria and was constructed in 1898. The existing air conditioning installation mainly comprises of air-cooled direct expansion with a mixture of wall or ceiling cassette mounted heat pump types and a central rooftop packaged is provided to serve the Community Wellbeing Office. The installation has a mixture of various ages, conditions and of different manufacturers.

The mechanical services upgrade works will be carried out in two stages to meet the project budget funding:

Stage 1 (this contract)
* Replace the older wall mounted and ducted equipment with new units
* Replace wall mounted split with new ceiling cassette units to improve air circulation and temperature controls
* Provide new ducted systems to serve the Western entry foyer and first floor circulation corridor
