Road Renewal Construction Program 2019/2020

The provision of a quality assured contract for the Road Renewal Construction Program 2019/20. This construction program includes the following road renewal projects and is estimated to be valued in excess of $2M:
Part A: Forest Road, Myrtle Crescent to Olivebank Road, Ferntree Gully,
Part B: Windermere Drive, Bryden Drive to Chelmsford Court, Ferntree Gully,
Part C: Sheraton Crescent, Ferntree Gully,
Part D: Burwood Highway Service Road, Hayward Road to Dobson Street, Ferntree Gully,
Part E: Burwood Highway Service Road, Ophelia Street to Carlisle Road, Ferntree Gully,
Part F: 1101 Burwood Highway Service Road, Ferntree Gully,
Part G: Barmah Drive West, No 51 to No 57, Wantirna,
Part H: Albert Avenue, Chandler Road to Bambury Street, Boronia,
Part I: Selman Avenue, Spring Street to Station Street, Ferntree Gully.

Tenderers are requested to price this tender as set out in the schedules to allow Council to award the tender in either of the following ways: Option 1: All works awarded as one package, Option 2: All works awarded in separate smaller packages.

Tenderers for this project are to be pre-qualified with the Civil Contractors Federation or Council approved equivalent.

Tenderers will be required to submit a detailed works program for the entire works, or for works which reflect their submission, and this will form a key element of the evaluation process.

Tenderers should note that all works for this contract shall be completed as specified within the approved submitted Works Program and no later than 31 May 2020.

A voluntary pre-tender information session will be held at the Knox City Council Civic Centre, 511 Burwood Highway, Wantirna South, Room 1 at 3.00pm, Tuesday 28 May 2019. Meeting minutes will be made available in word format following the pre-tender meeting as an addendum available via the e-tendering portal. Tenderers are highly encouraged to attend.
