Tender Description
This specification details the requirements for a renewal program of the City of Greater Dandenong's broadcast and multimedia platform. The intention of this is two-fold; to meet the requirements of the adopted asset renewal plan but also to allow integration with the Springvale urban screen platform currently under construction.
The core objectives with this range of projects is to upgrade the core video system in the Civic Centre to facilitate a second independent program output at Springvale. It also aims to adopt emergent IP standards wherever possible such as virtualisation and AVoIP ( such as Dante and NDI) for future proofing Council's investment. The third objective to renew assets that are no longer fit for purpose, at the end of their useful life or have been artificially aged by poor comms room conditions.
REPLACE ROSS CARBONITE CORE WITH NEWTEK VMC
* Supply and install Newtek VMC Video Mix Engine 'turn key' Appliance.
* Provide Ross OGX OpenGear chassis for housing existing outboard OpenGear hardware.
* Allow for integration into new Crestron control environment and Newtek Livepanel eco system.
* Allow for two days of specialised Newtek operator training
* Include 2 x Birdog.tv 4K NDI encoders and rackmount for additional sources.
* Include 6 x 10Gb/s and 4 x 1Gb/s HPAruba compatible OM4 fiber transceivers.
* Install, rack fit off, commissioning etc
