Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Pending regulatory approval, North East Water intends to reduce its carbon footprint by constructing a ground mounted, single axis tracking, Solar PV power generation plant of between 2MWatt to 3MWatt capacity adjacent to its Wodonga Wastewater Treatment Plant, located between Old Barnawartha Road and the Hume Highway.

The solar plant will supply electricity to the existing waste water plant and also export into the electricity grid operated by Ausnet Services.

North East Water is completing a preliminary design that will be issued as part of an RfT to the open market seeking to engage a Principal Contractor under a design and construct contract to deliver this project.
