Apparatus is calling for Australian Artists for two artwork opportunities at the Burswood City development.

Burswood City, located on the Burswood Peninsula, represents a major riverside development opportunity only a stone’s throw from the heart of the Western Australian State capital, Perth.

Expressions of Interest are sought from Artists (or Artist teams) within Australia for the first two artworks of this project. These are the:

• Foreshore Artwork; a stand-alone work interacting with the edge of the Swan River, and
• Playable Artwork; a free standing, bespoke sculpture that invites play and interaction within a primary public space.

These two opportunities are the first artworks advertised for the public art program for Burswood City. More detail on the remaining opportunities can be found in the Brief Appendices.
