Tender Description
Mallee Catchment Management Authority (CMA) is seeking proposals from suitably qualified organisations or individuals to deliver the Tyrrell and Lalbert Creek flow Investigation Project. In broad terms, this will involve:
* Community engagement;
* Obtaining and reviewing all necessary and available data required to complete the investigation;
* Developing good practice hydrological and hydraulic models for the study area;
* Determining the magnitude and cause of changed flows in Tyrrell and Lalbert creeks;
* Undertaking assessments relating to impacts of channel decommissioning undertaken to date and existing informal levees
* Determining flood information for a range of flood modelling scenarios and capturing this to the Municipal Flood Emergency Plans for Buloke Shire, Gannawarra Shire, and Swan Hill Rural City Councils;
* Updating the Culgoa Flood Investigation; and
* Delivering complete and concise documentation outlining project processes and deliverables.
Project outputs will be subject to independent technical review at the discretion of the Project Manager in consultation with the Project Reference Group (PRG). Reviews are likely to occur at key study hold points. Subsequent stages of work will not be accepted until all work subject to a preceding hold point milestone has been reviewed and formally approved.
