This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
Department of Human Services is seeking a Data Scientist to work within the Entitlements Calculation Engine (ECE) Project under the Welfare Payment Infrastructure Transformation (WPIT) Programme.
Primarily work within the ECE Project, the candidate will need to work with a diverse group of stakeholders and subject matter experts from both business and ICT. The candidate will also need to work closely with a range of stakeholders from other projects and will be required to work with external vendors.
* Be responsible for building an effective analytics and insights engine to enable project brief that will run to drive tangible insight.
* Required in selecting and participate in the implementation of the tools require to analyse data and extract insight.
* In an Advisor capacity, utilise the selection of data, insight, trend, comparison and related views and solutions for broader use.
* Work autonomously in identifying research trends within available data providing insight and implications that may not be readily observable.
* Bring an objective, data orientated mind set to the planning and delivery process by support of the collaboration with wider delivery teams.
