Council is seeking a consultant to develop the Loddon Youth Strategy 2019-2024. The consultant will be responsible for researching and working with key stakeholders to formulate a strategy for the next five years.
There are significant challenges that face many of our young people and advances will only be achieved if we work in partnership with other sections of the community – young people, their families, community agencies, state and federal governments. Council wants to acknowledge and celebrate young people’s achievements and encourage their participation in our communities.
The Loddon Youth Strategy 2019 -2024 will enable council to work in partnership with other agencies and the community to improve outcomes for young people.
* to increase support for young people and their families
* to focus on vulnerable young people
* to promote ease of access to services within council and of other partner organisations
* to increase the responsiveness of services and efficient use of other resources by increasing service integration and collaboration
Working together will enhance the sharing of knowledge and resources; ultimately being better placed to promote the wellbeing of young people right across the Loddon municipality.
