The Systems and Data Team in the Department of Education and Training, requires a Data Analyst who specializes in Microsoft Power BI and who also possesses strong business analysis, documentation, communication, engagement and self-management skills.
The Data Analyst will be working with the support of an EL2 and a communications project officer.
Responsible for driving the user engagement of a data warehouse and reporting solution through Power BI.
Communicate, engage and support other business areas in the use of Power BI; promote the general upskilling of generalist, non-specialist users in data use through Power BI.
Translate complex technical concepts into language that non-technical users can easily understand.
Deliver training documentation, demonstration sessions across the cluster and develop resources as appropriate.
Develop various business and technical documents and artefacts for the solution such as project management and business requirements documents and data dictionaries.
Identify and resolve data issues with IT and/or business areas.
